Aside from the football, basketball, soccerball and volleyball....this is the first toy that Brosnan has ever carried around with him. He loves it, it's so sweet the way he uses it as a pillow when he is falling asleep! This is the first present that Brosnan's Daddy ever gave his Mommy, I am glad he loves it too!

Thank goodness Mya found it behind his rocking chair.

On Sunday Brosnan and I made some play dough with Gummaw Sitty's recipe (don't tell Brosnan but this play dough tastes like salt - yum). I handed him the food coloring and asked him to pick one. I turned my back and by the time I turned back around the top was off the green food coloring! It was everywhere! By mid-day today I had finally washed it off my hands and in case you ever need to know...oxyclean removes food coloring from clothes if you act quickly. Lesson learned; don't let toddlers hold the food coloring, the caps aren't very secure!
By the way, I made purple play dough!

Movie night with Mya!

Mya came over on Friday and brought Peter Pan! We hardly watched the movie because it was so exciting that Mya was here! We read books and played train! It was so fun to have some company!
Mya likes Goodnight Moon!
Mya noticed Brosnan's giant stuffed giraffe, and its been Brosnan's favorite toy ever since!
And for all those that are wondering what it will be like to have children in their lives....this is our buffet with wine rack. It has been converted to a ball bin! Don't be fooled though, the wine is just stored a little higher than it used to be :)

Dancing

Brosnan sure does like to dance!

Watermelon!

This is a perfect example for why watermelon is best eaten outdoors! And would you look at that watermelon!? Remember when we were kids and and inch and a half of the watermelon was rind and you had to eat around the seeds?! Kids have it so easy these days! :)

The Fourth of July, 2010

Brosnan shares the family passion for food!
We got the tent for Brosnan, but I am pretty sure that the adults enjoyed the shade more!
We played hard on the beach! Then we had a snack....
and took a nap.....
The fourth of July on Mayport Naval Station was a lot of fun! Go USA!!!!

My camera on sunset mode....
Kim's camera on, 'make sure you can see their faces' mode!
Mom's digitally remastered version of the photo. Did you guys know that there are some great puzzles in the back room????
Our usual annual family vacation is to Brosnan Forrest. We have been so lucky to be able to go year after year. this year, it was another family's turn so we redirected to....Mayport Naval. As a retiree, Pa Pa gets to rent rooms from the base that are right on the beach. This was a wonderful substitutes for the Forrest. Don't worry Forrest, you are still our favorite :)

Brosnan LOVES his Pa Pa and Gummaw Sitty!Press-on tattoos were not a big hit...good thing because we were not successful with applying them!
Soccer fan!
Brosnan might be refraining from saying Mimi, but he sure can't keep his eyes off of her!
