Fall Football Weekend!!

We started off the weekend with a trip to MyGym. Dad came with us this week! Once again, the swings were the biggest hit! Wonder where he got that from...
Clemson played at 3:30 and we put on our gear! Miami was ranked 10 and clearly favored to win, but Clemson played to win and the Blantons practiced their high-five and clapping skills!
Football is exhausting and we always need a nap by halftime! Then Mommy just has to remember to cheer softly!
We got our second wind and cheered some more. Daddy's a good sport with the orange and purple :)
On Sunday the Jaguars had a bye, so we got a bunch of stuff done around the house. Brosnan learned how to install child-proofing for the kitchen cabinets.

10 months old!

Where does the time go? And when did Brosnan turn into such a little man?
BrosnanTook his first steps on Chris' birthday. We were sitting on the floor across from each other and Brosnan was leaning on my knee. He stood up and took three steps to Dad, got a big hug and lots of cheers, got down and walked three steps back to me! It was so exciting - what a great birthday present! Since then he has gotten brave enough to hold on to one finger and walk. The video doesn't do him justice. He walks much more gracefully when his pants aren't too long! Thanks for the hand-me-downs Reid! This is the toy that taught him how to walk.
Brosnan eats grown-up food now. He has a healthy appetite and likes most everything that he tries! Pizza can be messy, but look how much fun we have!!
The captain for this next picture is AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
not awwwweeeeee.... but AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
We are testing our vocal cords and getting some pretty good volume. This new skill also requires us to sit in the cry room in church!

Visit with Grandpa Lane!

Grandpa Lane came to town this weekend and had to WORK HARD to become Brosnan's buddy again! One of the coaches as MyGym called it 'stranger danger'. We get to see him three months in a row. By the time we meet up in Lansing, he will know his Grandpa!
Friday night Brosnan 'ignored' him. This is really frustrating. He does it to us too. You can feed, change and cloth him and he pretends you aren't there! I guess when he starts it again in high school it wont bother us as much! :)
By Saturday he wasn't ignoring him anymore, but was pretty stingy with the smiles.
By Sunday, my boys were having a grand ole time!
Grandpa went to MyGym as Brosnan's paparazzi!
and they went on a bike ride...
and even did some snuggling..

October....

We have surrendered the house to the toys! We just need to remember to clear a path to the bathroom before we turn out the lights :)
Brosnan and Will finally acknowledge each other when they are together. Usually its by stealing pacis from each other or exploring with their 'active hands'.

Aren't my boys awesome????
Looking forward to trick-or-treating this year! By next year we will have to share some of Brosnan's candy with him!
