Brosnan's stats

At 9 months and 9 days Brosnan is;
(50%) 20 lbs and 12 ozs
(70%) 29" tall
(70%) 46 1/4' head circumference

9 months and counting....

Brosnan loves to stand! This past weekend, he started letting go for longer periods of time. 30 seconds or so! He finally lost his balance is because his mom got so excited!
After a long afternoon of swimming and playing with Dad, Brosnan cuddled up for a nap with Mom while she watched Clemson on ESPN 360. For all you football fans that are no longer in the same state as your team, this website is awesome! Stream your game on your computer and avoid paying pay-per-view fees! The only thing that could have made our afternoon better was a W for Clemson.

At last... a room of his own!

Brosnan is such a team player! He shared his room with all of our wonderful out-of-town guests for the last 9 months! Although we made his room visitor-friendly, it is perfectly suited for a little guy learning to stand on his own (the bed is no longer on the frame). Gummaw Sitty's wall decorations and Grandma Blanton's quilt look great!

disclaimer: this is my first attempt at our panoramic photo software. I have a lot to learn, but you get the 'picture'.

Bonus photos

Brosnan is so lucky to learn music from such a great pianist!
Brosnan, Reid and Eva...playing hard!!
My count must have been off - they both look like they are just about to, or just finished smiling! For those of you that haven't been around Brosnan lately, he loves to walk around holding on to our fingers!
he even liked the walking chair!

After bedtime....

it's Mommy's turn to play with the toys.

Tomorrow night when we get home from work - Brosnan the Destroyer will redecorate Thomas' track. :)

Inspriration from our Trip!

Watching all of Brosnan's friends eat table food and have normal sleeping schedules inspired Mom and Dad to try some new things. Check out the look of uncertainty! The turkey was not a big hit, but peas and fruit were!

Day two was more successful... and messy! I think more food ended up in his lap than in his mouth!

The jury is still out on scheduled naps and bedtime!

USA Tour 2009

We started our trip with a visit with the Dibbles and Uncle Steven in Atlanta. Brosnan lights up with the big kids are around!
Brosnan had the amazing opportunity to meet his Great Gummaw!

and his second cousins, Steven and Dawn and his cousin once removed, Tyler (we had to look up the connection - thank you Wikipedia!)

Brosnan's first kiss went to his Aunt Kimmie (how happy did that make her!). Mom and Dad are still waiting...

4 generations of Schmidts!
Elijah and Brosnan got along famously! You should have heard them talking to one another! Both boys had on the same outfit for the game. KC is going to send me the picture and I will upload!
The Clemson Girls; Nikki Edwards, KC Frey, Kelly Traino and Laura Stechmesser.

Quade and Brosnan are neck and neck for size. Quade inspired me to start feeding Brosnan adult foods. Last night we had peas and rice! Thanks Quade - baby mush is boring!
Hind site is 20/20, but this was a rather ambitious trip for an 8 1/2 month old and his parents. We were a bit worn down by the end of the trip!
