The Circus!!!!

I know that Brosnan has not seen many shows, but I think that he would agree that it is the, "Greatest Show on Earth"! Anything that can captivate a thirteen month old for two and a half hours is alright in my book!!!!
Of course Mom loved the tigers!
and Dad liked the motorcycles
(although they were not as loud as we remembered them!)
Brosnan liked it all!!!! Especially the company! Will - next year, you come too!!!!
All the excitement wore the little guy out! I can finally appreciate why my parents would never let us buy a 'winky-blinky toy' when we were little! $22!!!! But I have a plan - storage and reuse! He won't know the difference until he is old enough to read the blog! Sorry little buddy, money doesn't grow on trees! Wow, now I sound like my Mom!!! :)

Grandpaw Lane Comes to Town

Grandpaw took us to the zoo! And who better to take us on our first train ride than Norfolk Southern's finest (too bad the train and track were donated by CSX)!
Brosnan let the wind fly through his hair!
Saw lots of cool animals!Played peek-a-boo behind the panda statues..
Rode on shoulders while we explored....
Posed for all sorts of pictures...
and wore ourselves out!

More Birthday Parties!

Cheryl and her mom were up until 2am working on Will's train cake! It looked great!
It must have tasted good too!
Isabel had a lady bug themed party! What a beautiful tutu!

Our White Christmas....

The Blanton's headed to Lansing Michigan for a white Christmas this year! Kim worked a deal with mother nature to have snow for a few days while we were there and for it to warm up before we had to fly back so we could travel safely. Thanks Kim!
Brosnan's first experience in the snow consisted of about 5 steps and then a face plant! Its hard to walk in all those clothes!

It didn't take long before we got our 'snow legs' and were sledding and throwing snowballs!

After Ralphie realized how much of Brosnan's food ended up on the ground, the two of them became best of friends!
And as a thank you for his clean-up efforts, we got him some new antlers!

Gummaw Sitty got some antlers and a Rudolph nose!

All Brosnan really wanted for Christmas was to NOT sit on Santa's lap!
Christmas was so much fun! We spent the entire day opening gifts by the fire!
Rob and Chris got marshmallow guns from Santa! Since the marshmallow's should be slightly stale to launch, they do not recommend aiming at each others mouths (see below).
the target:
Brosnan got his first football from Uncle Rob. He LOVED it!
We got to see the deer on a daily basis! What a fun Christmas treat! Do you think we could get them to wear the antlers next year?
And it wouldn't be a Lane get-together if the boys weren't trying to fix a computer!
