You can see how Brosnan 'walks'!
Suzy and Eric came down from Charleston for the walk!
Afterwards we went to Burrito Gallery for lunch. Yummy tacos! Unfortunately we got there 35 minutes before they opened. Did we look impatient?
Gummaw/Gimmaw/Grandma/Mimi... Brosnan isn't going to know what to call his Grandma Lane, I can't pick one and use it consistently! There is no doubt that he loves her though! She brought SO many new things to do! His favorite was the playdough! In total this week, they probably played with the squishy, colored stuff for two hours! This is a miracle amount of time for a one year old! Brosnan liked the playdough so much that he asked Gummaw to give him knuckles :) They also dyed Easter eggs! This was messy. And unfortunately Mom and Dad have taught him to throw balls, and the eggs look a lot like balls!
Many years ago, the Lane Family went on a trip to DC to visit Gummaw Sitty's college roommate, Aunt Terry. Aunt Terry had this bag of fuzzy balls that turned into amo for a fight. Those balls stuck to our clothes and hair and left great memories in our minds! The Lane family tradition of fuzzy balls continues!
I love when you guys get to spend extended periods of time with Brosnan, when you do he learns so quickly! He had never identified is body parts before Gummaw Sitty asked him what they were, but we sang the 'head, shoulders, knees and toes' song with him enough that he knew them. I need to remember to ask him questions instead of just telling him stuff!
